The registration desk will open at 8:00 AM July 29, 2019, at the entrance hall of the venue (E & S building).



Presentation

Opening Session
The opening session will start at 8:45, and is followed by the first lecture.

Lecture
Each lecture session is scheduled for 90 min. including question and discussion time. For Lectures, please keep it in mind that EASW9 is an inter-disciplinary meeting with a variety of backgrounds related to plasma physics. Ph. D students and young post-docs are supposed to be the main audience. Therefore, please add sufficient introduction to your Leccture, and remain enough discussion time (at least, 15min.).

The Lecture L-4 by Prof. Takeuchi includes a tutorial on the data science in astrophysics. Please bring you note PC with installing Python 3 and Jupyter. For more details, please refer this page.

Invited talk
Invited talks are assigned in the session, S-1 to S-6, with 20 min. plus 5min. discussion time. The invited talk can be more focused one than Lectures, While the presentations should be prepared for the audience with a variety of background.

Contributed talk
Contributed talks are assigned in the session, S-1 to S-6, with 10 min. plus 5 min. discussion. A poster board is also available for each contributed talk in the poster session on Monday 29 July.

Poster Session
Poster session will be held in a conference room from 16:00 to 18:30 on Monday 29 July. The poster board size is 90cm width and 170cm height, which will accept A0 portrait. The posters can be put on the board till the afternoon session on Tues day 30 July for individual discussion.

Conference dinner

The conference dinner will be held at 18:00 on Tuesday, 30 July. Therestaurant locates on the second floor of Symposion, Toyoda Auditorium. Please refer the site map in the meeting program.
